After reciting the Gayatri Mantra & the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, participants may then receive a blessing from one of the ministers.
If he wishes, he/she can go up to the altar to offer a personal prayer. If he has written his purification request on a piece of paper, he may burn that paper in a bowl, which should be placed for this purpose on the altar, with a burning candle beside it.
